Kindergarten - That's a Wrap!

Wow, it has been a really long time since I've posted here. Life has been different for us since the pandemic began, and for everyone else, of course. Some lows but more highs.

Quick recap: On March 13, 2020, I left work at noon, picked June up from childcare, and we've been home together ever since. I'm fortunate to have a job where I've been able to successfully work fully remote. We opted to have June do 100% online kindergarten, which had me feeling all sorts of ways, but it worked for us, she learned a lot, and June loved her teacher. We're so thankful the ICCSD had a great online learning program for us to enroll her in.

June grew so much this past year physically, emotionally and intellectually. I see so many changes in her since the beginning of the school year. And the fact she's lost 8 teeth makes her look so much more grown up!

We look forward to spending the summer together and with our extended family and close-knit group of friends. Returning to school in person is something that's coming, which I'm trying not to focus on too much right now. C'mon, vaccine for kids 2-11!!!

June's 1st and last day of kindergarten photos. So proud of this funny, smart, resilient girl.
